Another week is upon us


Well here we are again. I feel that I have been doing very well, and so has Jimmy. Actually he probably does better than me these days when it comes to eating and snacking. I have lost 5 pounds over the past week, I feel like that is a strong start to me renewed journey! I have been trying really hard to cut out the bad carbs and fix healthier suppers. There is a really neat website I found that has some great recipes and helpful tips. It is http://www.eatingwell.com/. I liked one tip they had for cutting calories. It was to take your current weight times 12 and that was the amount of calories needed per day to maintain current weight (which is DEFINITELY not what I am after). From that number you cut 500 calories per day to lose 1 pound a week and 1000 calories a day to lose 2 pounds a week. I found that tip very helpful. Then as my weight goes down, so will my need for calories. I have been working on this post for three days now, I think it is about time to get it out there. It has just kind of been a crazy week and I haven't been getting on the computer much, especially at home. I hope everyone is having a good week. I will be checking back in soon!
