
I worked in the yard for a couple of hours last night, and that has to be better exercise than anything I have ever done. I was lifting landscaping blocks, using the shovel, moving around mulch, it was quite the workout. Which is a good thing since I haven't been walking as much as I would like to. As soon as summer vacation hits I will be walking every morning that I can, I will set off as soon as Jimmy leaves for work! I have also realized that taking smaller bites and eating slower seems to make me feel as if I am eating more. Those of you that are teachers know how fast we have to shovel food in to be able to eat everything in the 3 minute lunch period we have....ok, it is not quite that bad, but some days it feels like it. But I have realized that if I stop and enjoy my food a more and eat it slower that I feel fuller. So maybe by taking smaller bites and eating slower we can trick our stomachs into feeling fuller. Oh, and my weight is down 7 pounds since I restarted a little over a week ago!!!
7 pounds is awesome!!! You need to post some pics of your landscaping too. Way to go chick!!!! You are awesome!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the 7 pounds. I totally agree the yard work is a much better exercise program and more productive. We spent last week pulling weeds. But I can't wait to get back to mowing the yard, I usually push mow to trim the yard in. Now that is a workout. Have a fabulous week!
